Wpadł mi w ręce atramentowy kombajn Brothera (drukarka, skaner, kopiarka, faks w jednym). Pochodzenie: poniemieckie, stan: nieznany, mocno używany. Problem stwarza mi przestawienie języka interfejsu na wyświetlaczu. Obecnie jest niemiecki.
Wydaję mi się, że robię wszystko zgodnie z serwisówką, a mimo tego nie mogę przestawić języka. Mianowicie:
1. Po włączeniu wchodzę do "MAINTANCE mode" ([Function, *, 2, 8, 6, 4] wciskane w ciągu dwóch sekund).
2. Wciskam kod "74" i pojawia się aktualny "customization code" (brzmiący: "0003", czyli język niemiecki).
3. Wpisuję kod dla UK: "0004" i wciskam "START".
4. I nic się nie dzieje. Tylko jeśli wstukam ponownie to, co było wcześniej (czyli 0003) i dam START, to pokazuje się "PARAMETER INIT" i drukarka się tak jakby restartuje.
Jeśli zignoruję to, że po punkcie 3. nic się nie dzieje i dam "STOP" (wróci do głównego ekranu tryby MAINTANCE) oraz wpiszę kod "99" na wyjście z trybu serwisowego, to menu dalej jest po niemiecku.
Próbowałem też innych kodów (dla USA, Kanady, Australii oraz dla pozostałych państw z listy) i bez rezultatu. Działa tylko niemieckie 0003...Czy robię coś źle? A może zmiana języka menu jest wogóle niemożliwa? A może ten egzemplarz nie ma wgranego niczego innego jak niemiecki?
Czy wtedy da się go dograć po LPT albo jakimś programatorem?Dodam, że model ten jest podobno zbliżony do MFC-9000c.Aha, choć jestem serwisantem drukarek, to nieco rozumiem fachowe słownictwo, dłubię przy tym amatorsko...
