I actually came here to say the opposite! I've had my sewing machine for a few years and have never been able to thread on my first try, it would never catch the loop!! I watched your video and did it first try. Thank you :)

May have worked if your hand hadn’t been in the way so much. Probably more helpful for someone who is not a complete novice.

This is useless if you have a newer sq1985 or2985.

Just some constructive feedback for your next videos: you rush over very important concepts and don't demonstrate things clearly enough for beginners to understand.

You need to redo this one with someone who understands that their hands covering everything you're supposed to be showing doesn't work. This is unhelpful.

FIRST-explain in short detail what your referring to, (raised what? How?)!!!
